1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.devslab.io and related online properties operated by Devslab Ltd (“Devslab”, “we”, “us”), including contact forms, careers/talent intake, and informational pages about our products and services.

By accessing or using our website or submitting information through it, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Separate written contracts govern client software projects, product subscriptions (such as SitBites, Gemura, or Orora), and individual talent engagements. Those agreements control if they conflict with these website Terms.

2. Who may use the site

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law and must provide accurate information when you contact us or apply to the talent network. You may not use the site for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes, or in a way that disrupts our systems or other users.

3. Our services

Devslab provides software engineering, product design and development, AI and cloud services, system integration, and related professional services. Descriptions on the website are for general information and do not constitute an offer until confirmed in a proposal or signed agreement.

Product features, availability, and pricing for platforms we publish may change. Access to those products may require separate accounts, licenses, or terms.

4. Talent network

Submitting a profile to the Devslab talent network does not create employment, guarantee placement, or obligate Devslab to offer work. We may review, screen, accept, decline, or archive applications at our discretion.

If you are engaged for a project, the engagement terms (including scope, fees, confidentiality, and IP) will be set out separately. You agree that information you submit is true and that you have the right to share any CV, portfolio, or work samples you upload.

5. Intellectual property

The website’s content, branding, logos, design, and software are owned by Devslab or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links for personal or internal business evaluation. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit our content or trademarks without prior written permission.

Feedback you send us may be used to improve our services without obligation to you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data.
• Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights or is illegal, defamatory, or harassing.
• Misrepresent your identity, skills, or affiliation.
• Use automated means to scrape or overload the site except for ordinary search indexing.

7. Third-party links and products

The site may link to third-party websites or to product domains we operate. Third-party sites have their own terms and privacy practices. Linked product applications may have additional terms that apply when you create an account or use paid features.

8. Disclaimers

The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content is always complete or current.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Devslab and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the website or inability to use it.

Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or your use of the website will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100) or the equivalent in local currency, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including for fraud or willful misconduct).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Devslab from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or modify/suspend the website at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms our users or systems.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Kigali, Rwanda shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the website, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
